DOWN ON THE FARM
(adapted from screenplay by Michael Parks)
I love directing theatre. I create/adapt/produce as well.
Developing projects in a workshop environment with other artists is a great way to work ... given time and means.
In between full productions, there is a lot of messing around, dreaming, talking, workshopping, directing of staged readings, raising money...
After the experience of directing and producing, I love the focus, freedom, and power of acting.
Acting refuels my directing confidence, creativity, and stamina. A forceful, delightful marriage.
Theatre has the potential to call on our resources, igniting imagination, to better transform space and time together.
